Game Thread: MSU vs. Grand Valley State

Basketball is here! Exhibition season gets underway as the Spartans host Grand Valley State. The last time MSU hosted GVSU during Michigan week, it, uh, didn't go well.

Most of you probably won't watch this game, unless you pay the money to BTN. If any of you are listening on the radio or happen to be watching, feel free to share your thoughts with everyone here. Not sure if we'll have a recap. I'll leave this up for people to react if you watch the replay on Tuesday.

We'll try to have some hoops preview stuff next week leading up to the regular season, which happens to coincide with the football bye week for the second year in a row, so that works out.

Official word on Kaminski -- Out today and maybe beyond, did not meet some of Izzo's expectations in offseason. Izzo said academics in hall.
