Michigan State plans to set aside more funding for football, but nothing official yet | MLive.com

This would be huge, and we can get more into it later. Mark Hollis threw out a number of $4 million, and the school is looking at ways for it to happen through other revenue streams (not general fund, tuition or other sports). But more money for recruiting or little things around the program goes a long way, especially if MSU wants to compete for championships every year. Hollis talked more about this in the LSJ.
