MSU has picked up its first commitment for the class of 2015, and it's a big one.
Detroit Cass Tech quarterback Jayru Campbell visited MSU on Tuesday with a number of recruits and committed.

True freshman offensive lineman Dennis Finley was the first Cass Tech player to come to MSU in more than decade, and class of 2014 linebacker Deon Drake is committed to be the second. Of course, it helps that Campbell worked with Detroit Max Ex, which was founded and owned by Curtis Blackwell, MSU's new recruiting coordinator.
Campbell is a big kid with a big arm, and he's already drawn some elite offers having just finished his sophomore season. Campbell hasn't even gotten close to his potential yet.
I'll add some more reaction later, but his highlights are below. It appears Blackwell's relationships are already paying off.
