No. 8 Michigan State looks to improve to 2-0 in Big Ten play when it heads to West Lafayette, Ind. on Saturday to face Purdue. The Only Colors' staff make their picks.

Mike Carter-USA TODAY Sports

Each week, The Only Colors pony up game predictions that they won't be held accountable for later on.

Blake Baumgartner: MSU 42-10

Pete Rossman: 45-10 MSU

HeckDorland: 41-7 MSU

KJ: Long-time readers know that I am an avowed non-predictor of game results. Last year, I had a shtick about it we included in these posts. I think I'll spare everyone that this year. Go Green.

Joe Tuohey: 38-13 MSU

SpartanBDF: 38-21 MSU

intrpdtrvlr: Michigan State 36, Purdue 13

Jameson Draper: 42-13 MSU

Jeremy_Dewar: 52-10 MSU

Jeremy Warnemuende: 48-6 MSU

SpartanDan: MSU 45-7

LVS: MSU 27, Purdue 6

In what should be no surprise, it's unanimous for Michigan State. Given the Spartans' five-point margin of victory, 27-22, last Saturday night at home against Nebraska, Joe takes the lead with his second win of the year, courtesy of his 33-28 prediction in favor of Michigan State. Con-T, Pete, and Jeremy all trail Joe by one win in the season standings.
