Purdue Famous Alumni: Right now I am in grad school, becoming a slave to the process of writing in APA format, so I have an affinity for Purdue as they are the source online for APA questions. I also have an affinity for the moon and those who walk upon it. What better week to play Purdue, the college of choice for Neil Armstrong, than a week where we have been spoiled with a lunar eclipse? Armstrong graduated from Purdue in 1955 with a degree in aeronautical engineering and was a baritone player in the Purdue All-American Marching Band.
"Francisco That's Fun To Say": You may not be surprised to hear this, but there are a lot of boring names on this Purdue roster. So the winner this week is Danny Ezechukwu. The redshirt freshman linebacker was a 3-star recruit coming out of Georgia. He has dressed for all six games this season and has five tackles.
Interesting Purdue University Fact: Purdue is mighty damn proud of possessing the "World's Largest Drum". I mean when your athletic programs have won three NCAA Championships in their entire existence, you have to latch on to something I suppose. Well, now you will have even more trash to talk if you're making the trip to Purdue this weekend. Their drum is in fact not the largest in the world, it isn't even the largest in college football! Both the University of Missouri and Texas have bigger drums. So ya know... take that Purdue!
