Every year, much like winter itself, basketball season seems to come sooner and sooner. Today was Big Ten basketball media day in Chicago, signifying just how close we really are to hoops. There's a lot of questions marks surrounding Tom Izzo's team this upcoming season with the departures of Gary Harris, Adreian Payne and Keith Appling, but basketball always brings a solid dose of optimism in East Lansing.
