How to watch Michigan State vs. Nebraska: Game time, TV schedule, odds, and more

#19 Nebraska comes to East Lansing in a prime time showdown

Eric Francis

Well, around say 2:00 AM EST Friday this game became even more important. With Oregon losing to unranked Arizona at home, the Spartans strength of schedule took a hit, making the odds of a College Football Playoff appearance a little bit longer. So, the team from East Lansing must show up Saturday and get the job done and probably in semi-dominant fashion to separate from the troubles of the B1G. Nebraska is possibly the best team left on the schedule for the Spartans and they are the best game on in primetime Saturday night. This is a big stage for the Spartans and they must not let this one slip, like they did in Eugene on September 6. Get your predictions here and preview here!

Game Time: 8:00 PM EST

Location: Spartan Stadium, East Lansing, Michigan

TV: ABC

Radio: Spartan Sports Network

Line: Michigan State -7

Nebraska Famous Alumni: Is FauxPelini a Nebraska alum? A quick search reveals an ESPN article from August showing the man behind college footballs 3rd best twitter account (1. Mike Sadler, duh 2. Ryan Nanni) is in fact not a Nebraska alum. So there goes that option, but you should still follow him on twitter and read his 2014 College Football Playoff picture. So who is the most fun Nebraska alum then? Did Tommy Lee ever graduate from that terrible reality show he did on campus? No... there's no way. I decided to go with Warren Buffet as a selfish pick for Pete and I. See Buffet started his academic career at University of Pennsylvania and joined Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity (making Pete and I fraternity brothers with the 2nd wealthiest person in America). After two years Buffet transferred to Nebraska-Lincoln where in graduated with a B.S. in business administration at 19.

"Francisco That's Fun To Say": Ameer Abdullah can be a fun name to say, but #FearAmeer is a scary movement and I'm hoping we hear his name as little as possible Saturday night. I barely had to move down the roster from Ameer to find my winner this week. It's got the combo of being an awesome name, both in pronunciation and sheer patriotism. Freshman tight end Freedom Akinmoladun is this week's winner. The product of Grandview, MO has yet to see game action.

Interesting University of Nebraska Fact: Like Michigan State University, Nebraska was a land grant institution founded under the Morrill Act of 1862. The founding of UNL came a mere two years after Nebraska was granted statehood.
