When Mark Dantonio mentioned something Tuesday about TV ratings and how they might help Michigan State when it comes to the playoff selection process, I didn't really think anything of it. The head coach at a midwest Big Ten school saying a lot of people in the midwest would like to see a Big Ten team play for a national title? The nerve! Two days later, though, Dantonio was a topic on ESPN's Around the Horn and naturally, his comments were made into a bigger deal than they warrant. All that being said, if that's the most controversial thing the national pundits can find when talking MSU, I guess it's been a pretty good week.
