MSU basketball lost to Duke 81-71 last night, and nothing about it was surprising. The Spartans' post defense was lacking, there were some dry spells on offense and the Blue Devils got every call. And, in the end, Duke proved to be the more talented team. Nothing we didn't already know. Still, it was a strong effort, and I tend to believe Izzo when he says this Spartan team will be much different down the road.
