MSU Receives $3 Million Gift For Spartan Athletics - MSU - The Secchia family, namesake of the softball stadium and a big part of bringing the College of Human Medicine to Grand Rapids, has donated $3 million for Spartan athletics. This is on the heels of a $10 million donation from the Skandalaris family. The athletics part of MSU's "Empower Extraordinary" campaign is looking to raise $262 million. The campaign goal for endowments is $50 million, and MSU says this gift brings MSU nearly halfway there. Notably, MSU says this gift goes "toward the endowment of the defensive coordinator position and capital improvements for the MSU men's basketball program."
Meyer: How you approach your team depends on their confidence - CoachingSearch.com - A cheap plug from me, Urban Meyer explained on his radio show how Ohio State attacked this week. The theme of the week? "This is a big game."
Michigan State's Izzo happy to see SCSU nephew succeed - St. Cloud Times - Tom Izzo's nephew plays for St. Cloud State. MSU plays St. Cloud State on Friday.
Also, *sigh*, this.
MICHIGAN STATE: We will be there tomorrow 10-12E. Come watch me annihilate Stephen A the way your team will Ohio State.
