With the regular season and championship games over, it's time to figure out who's making this darn college football playoff. Alabama, Oregon, and Florida State are ostensibly locks, while one team out of Ohio State, TCU, and Baylor will make it as well. SB Nation has OSU being that fourth team, while ESPN's Bowl Selection pundits are split, with one choosing OSU and the other choosing TCU.
Whatever happens, there are a couple near guarantees. One of them is that Michigan State will face Georgia Tech in the Orange Bowl, since MSU will most likely be the highest ranked non-champion out of the Big Ten and SEC, while Georgia Tech will be the highest ranked non-champion out of the ACC.
Still, it's going to be interesting to see which one of Baylor, OSU, and TCU gets the call for the playoffs. So follow along with us in this open thread to see which team the playoff committee selects, starting at 12:30 Eastern on ESPN.
