The Spartans look to get back into a tie for first place in the Big Ten tonight against the Nittany Lions.

One thing I've learned during my time as a Spartan fan: beware of stars on teams named "Northwestern" or "Penn State". Craig Moore, Kevin Coble, and Talor Battle have all stunned the Spartans on occasion. While Tim Frazier may not entirely fit the profile of a lone assassin (D.J. Newbill has been doing work recently), he and the Nittany Lions have been on a roll, winning their last three against Nebraska, at Ohio State, and Purdue. If MSU's going to keep Penn State from four straight wins, the Spartans will have to do it without Keith Appling, who won't play in this game. YAY.

GO GREEN, GO WHITE, BEAT PENN STATE.
