This time of year is the worst. Basketball is over, and despite spring ball picking up, football seems so far away. But there's still plenty to stress about, if you so choose, as a Michigan State sports fan. Will Gary Harris leave? Probably. What about Branden Dawson? Maybe, but that's less clear. Tom Izzo too? Don't count on it.

The looking ahead to next year can never start too soon, if you ask me, and although the questions outnumber the answers right now by a wide margin, there's a lot to look forward to and even more to talk about. Unfortunately, it's time for a few months of almost nothing but talk.
