Here we go again. I thought maybe we wouldn't have an Izzo Watch this year after the Pistons rumors kind of fizzled out, but here we are! Tom Izzo going to the Timberwolves has always made a lot more sense than him taking over a broken Pistons team. As KJ pointed out, Minnesota at least has a superstar player in Kevin Love, but he could opt for free agency after next season. There's also Izzo's relationship with Flip Saunders, and he's already ruled out the best candidate (in my mind), Fred Hoiberg.

So it might be a stressful few weeks unless Izzo puts down these rumors soon. If not, get flight tracker queued up. It's time for Izzo Watch.
