Linking Laconically is back

Sorry for the hiatus, but Ma and Pa Linking Laconically took the family on vacation last week and I just didn't have time to post. But now I'm tan, frustrated with my golf game and fresh, so I'm ready to link laconically once again.

While I was out, the big news was the NFL Draft, in which just one Spartan was selected. While that might be surprising, Joe Rexrode made a good point yesterday: every fan of every college team expects their guys to get drafted. The reality is that there's only so many picks, and being an undrafted free agent isn't the worst thing in the world.

Bummer some of those guys didn't get picked, but it might work out better that way.
