Linking Laconically is being evaluated

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Draft combines are always a strange event for me, as a bunch of people stand around and study a bunch of athletic freaks like it's some sort if exhibit. At today's NBA combine, the best players didn't even work out and just showed up to be measured and interviewed. Those measurements include everything you could imagine, including a player's height in his socks, in case he loses his shoes mid-game or something. Those measurements didn't help Gary Harris, but scouts must be drooling over what they saw from Adreian Payne.
