Today is finally the day. Although the NBA Draft doesn't get quite the pub of its football counterpart, and the process doesn't seem to drag on quite as long, tonight will mark the end of a long wait for players ready to find out their new home. Michigan State has two guaranteed picks in Gary Harris and Adreian Payne that will almost assuredly go in the first round, possibly the lottery, while Keith Appling might sneak in as a late second round selection.
So after that stressful early afternoon of soccer, here's some light reading to help you kill time until the draft coverage starts at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN:
Come for the draft preview, stay for the guy who thinks running 170 miles "sounds like an easy run."
He'll get a shot of some sort, it's just a matter of will he get drafted?
Really looking forward to the moment he gets picked.
