The television schedule for Big Ten Basketball games was released for CBS a couple days ago, and today it was released for ESPN and CBS. Here are MSU's games on those networks:
Date | Home Team | Away Team | Time (Eastern) | Network |
---|---|---|---|---|
12/30/14 | MSU | Maryland | 5:00 PM | ESPN2 |
1/8/15 | Iowa | MSU | 7:00 PM | ESPN or ESPN2 |
1/17/15 | Maryland | MSU | 4:00 PM | CBS |
1/24/15 | Nebraska | MSU | 4 PM/7 PM | ESPN or ESPN2 |
2/1/15 | MSU | Michigan | 1:00 PM | CBS |
2/7/15 | MSU | Illinois | Noon | ESPN or ESPN2 |
2/14/15 | MSU | Ohio State | Noon | ESPN or ESPN2 |
2/17/15 | Michigan | MSU | 9:00 PM | ESPN |
3/1/15 | Wisconsin | MSU | TBD | CBS |
3/7/15 | Indiana | MSU | TBD | ESPN or ESPN2 |
One small note: the Wisconsin-MSU game on March 1st isn't guaranteed to be on CBS as they can choose to air the Purdue-Ohio State game instead. However, given the importance of MSU-Wisky in previous seasons, I assumed that CBS would make the logical call and choose the Spartans and Badgers on that day.
The good news in this announcement is that there's no Spartan Big Ten games on ESPNU: if you have a standard cable package, you should have access to all the Spartans' Big Ten games assuming you get BTN. We're almost one month away from Midnight Madness, and even though football's still in full swing, basketball season is coming.
