Linking Laconically is ready to get serious

Mike Carter-USA TODAY Sports

Big Ten play is here, and not a week too soon. Beating up on Eastern Michigan and Wyoming wasn't the worst, but now it gets serious. And despite what the rest of the country thinks, there's some talent in the Big Ten, and MSU will see a team with quite a bit of it Saturday in No. 19 Nebraska. It's a big way to open up the conference season, and it will likely play a large role in deciding who wins the league.
