Linking Laconically knows it could be worse

Scott Olmos-USA TODAY Sports

As we move further away from Saturday's loss, it's much easier to look at some of the positives from the game. As today's links point out, the freshmen that played were solid, Tony Lippett has emerged as a big-time receiver and the Spartans have proven able to recover from such adversity under Mark Dantonio. Still stings that MSU put itself behind the eight ball when it comes to the playoff, but there's still plenty to play for starting in a couple weeks against EMU.
