So, I guess the East Coast still exists. I thought that the Snowpocalypse ended that part of the country. Anyways, with a couple extra days of rest the Spartans head to Piscataway to take on a rather plucky Rutgers squad that beat Wisconsin and has only been blown out twice in conference play. Compared to expectations, that's still overperforming.

Backcourt players Bishop Daniels and Mike Williams are both banged up for Rutgers, who is definitely not at 100%. Strangely, we can't say the same thing about a healthy MSU squad. Lead guard Myles Mack and big Kadeem Jack are the two guys to watch for the Scarlet Knights.

This seems like a game where Branden Dawson could go off; Rutgers is a very mediocre rebounding team. Don't expect many free throws, as Rutgers tends to steer clear of fouling(#50 per KenPom) while MSU is clearly not very good at getting to the line. The thinness of the Scarlet Knight backcourt should help Travis Trice and Denzel Valentine have big days (I hope).
