So, the bye week. It seems like it comes at a pretty decent time, right? Jack Allen and Darian Hicks have a little time to get healthy, plus it's Halloween anyways; the last time MSU played on Halloween was the disaster of a loss in 2009 to a Tim Brewster-coached Minnesota team.
Now I'm getting a little verklempt. Here are some topics to discuss amongst yourselves:
- Ohio State's J.T. Barrett getting an OVI last night. Ohio State is on a bye this week.
- Nebraska, next week's opponent, kicks off against Purdue at noon ET in West Lafayette.
- Michigan plays in their first game since Rangers tonight at 8:00 PM ET, and Minnesota will be without Jerry Kill
- There are several other national games which could be of interest to MSU fans hoping for a playoff berth.
Go Green, Go White, Beat Bye Week!
