It only took a day after receiving an offer for Noah Davis to announce his commitment to Michigan State.

His weekend visit to East Lansing during the Spartans' spring game was enough for him to continue the trend of verbal commits, becoming the final prospect to announce his decision in five days among five recruits, as well as the fourth pledge from the state of Ohio.

Davis, a three-star tight end from Cincinnati St. Xavier High, is now the seventh commit from the 2016 class, joining pro style quarterback Messiah deWeaver, offensive lineman Matthew Allen, running back Abdul Adams, wide receivers Justin Layne and Cameron Chambers, and linebacker Joe Bachie.

Dave Berk of Scout.com first reported Davis commitment, who told the analyst about his trip to MSU's campus was really fun.

"The spring game was cool and a good atmosphere," Davis told Berk. "I talked with Coach Mark Dantonio before the game and then afterwards at the team barbecue and he seems like a really genuine person."
