The 19th commitment of Michigan State's 2016 recruiting class has arrived, and it took less than 24 hours after receiving an offer from the school.

Trishton Jackson, a 6-foot-2, 181 pound wide receiver from West Bloomfield, made his verbal commitment on Thursday morning, but tweets from coach Mark Dantonio earlier Wednesday evening made it clear that they just increased the talent of the receiving corp.

Jackson is a three-star prospect by Rivals.com and 247Sports, and is the No. 11 ranked prospect in the state of Michigan on both sites. 247Sports has him listed at No. 59 overall among all wide receivers in the nation.

Jackson is also a four-star recruit by Scout.com and the No. 3 wide receiver in Michigan, behind Donnie Corley (Detroit King) and Louisville commit Desmond Fitzpatrick (Farmington).

Jackson also received offers from Cincinnati, Iowa, Pittsburgh and Purdue, among others.

I had the opportunity to play West Bloomfield back in 2013 when Jackson was a sophomore. One thing is for sure, Jackson is ridiculously fast and difficult to bring down in the open field. A solid in-state pickup for MSU.
