What happens when Mark Dantonio pulls a scholarship from a commit due to miscommunication? Receives another commit three days later.
2016 lineman Gavin Cupp confirmed to the Detroit Free Press that his offer was rescinded from Dantonio, after not informing the head coach that he was attending and working out at a Ohio State Friday Night Lights camp.
Taking Cupp's spot on the offensive line will be fellow 2016 A.J. Arcuri from Powell, Ohio, who announced his verbal commitment on Twitter Monday.
It was the three-star prospect's third offer from a Big Ten school, along with Illinois and Indiana. Arcuri also held offers from Pittsburgh, Bowling Green and Toledo, among others.
247Sports ranks Arcuri No. 32 among all recruits in the state of Ohio and the No. 70 overall offensive lineman in the country.
