Michigan State Madness Info and Open Thread

NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-St. Louis Practice Jeff Curry-USA TODAY Sports

It’s time for the Spartans’ annual Michigan State Madness event, which marks the beginning of a new college basketball season.

This will be the first look fans get of both the men’s and women’s basketball teams at the Breslin Center. The festivities begin at 9:30 p.m. ET with fans able to enter up to an hour beforehand.

The event will be highlighted by the men's and women's basketball teams being introduced before each team holds their own scrimmage. This gives us our first look at the Spartans star-studded freshman class of Miles Bridges, Josh Langford, Cassius Winston and Nick Ward, as well as returning upperclassmen Eron Harris, Gavin Schilling, and Tum Tum Nairn.

We will also likely seem some thunderous dunks thrown down by Bridges, something he’s been doing plenty of this offseason.

We will also get to see the Spartan Marching Band and drumline, cheerleaders, and dance team perform tonight. Come talk about it all in tonight’s open thread.
