Michigan State Basketball Checks In at #9 In USA Today Preseason Poll

Football season? WHAT FOOTBALL SEASON?! Basketball is in the air, folks.

The Top five teams in basketball include Duke, Kansas, Villanova, Kentucky and Oregon. While your Michigan State Spartans managed to land a top ten ranking in the preseason coaches poll today sitting at No. 9 and also being the top ranked team in the Big Ten.

The Big Ten currently has five teams in the Top 25 preseason poll they include, No. 10 Wisconsin, No. 12 Indiana, No. 15 Purdue, and No. 21 Maryland.

We all know how Tom Izzo loves to schedule tough non conference games and he did it again this season. Michigan State will face Arizona, Duke and Kentucky all in the non-conference.

Michigan State’s first exhibition game will be held at the Breslin Thursday, October 27th against Northwood. Don’t miss it!
