He’s thought to be leaning toward Duke, so hopefully this visit will go a long way toward changing his mind.
Leading the charge for the sale will be another five-star recruit, according to MLive.com, in the form of 2017 MSU commit Jaren Jackson Jr. The football game serving as the centerpiece of this weekend’s events may not go too well for the Spartans, but there is much, much more for a potential basketball star to like in East Lansing.
Trent, whose father played in the NBA, would be another huge pickup for an already impressive recruiting class. He’s the No. 11 overall 2017 recruit nationally, per 247Sports, and the No. 2 shooting guard. He’s already visited both UCLA and Duke.
