Michigan State Can Play Spoiler to Two College Football Playoff Hopefuls

The final two games are both must wins for Penn State and Ohio State if they want to have a shot at the B1G Championship or the Playoff.

Once again, the road to Indianapolis runs through East Lansing. Just not in the way we hoped in August.

With all the chaos that happened this week with No. 2, 3 and 4 losing, a lot of teams are thinking that even without a conference title they have an outside chance of building a resume worthy of a spot in this years College Football Playoff.

Michigan State is as far away from the College Football Playoff as you can get this year but, the Spartans have a unique opportunity these next two weeks to play spoiler as the final two games are must wins for both Ohio State and Penn State.

So, while UM still is in control of their own destiny (win out and they are in the championship), we could essentially ruin the chances of Penn State and Ohio State even being considered for a spot in the playoff.

Not the best way to end the season but any time you get to play spoiler in the conference, you have to revel in that a little. Ohio State comes to town this Saturday, kickoff is set for Noon ET on ESPN.
