The Only Colors and No Kid Hungry

Hey there Spartan Nation,

Hope you are having a great Tuesday, have put the football season completely behind you and are ready for Michigan State to tip-off against Duke tonight. That being said, I wanted to break the norm and share something a little different with everyone.

As some of you know the tradition of Black Friday deals has grown to include other days like Cyber Monday and Small Business Saturday but the coolest of which is Giving Tuesday. A day when people all give en masse to their favorite charities. One of the clients my day job works with is No Kid Hungry. You might have seen them around, they have a mission to end childhood hunger in America. For Giving Tuesday, NKH has gained two corporate sponsors (La Brea Bakery and Citi) that will match the first $100,000 donated on today.

We here at The Only Colors have decided to get in on the action. We have set up our own page to try and help raise some money for No Kid Hungry today. This is an chance for all of Spartan Nation to rise up and do something amazing for the holidays. All donations are tax deductible so that is a double win.

I know there is a lot of ways to give, a lot of ways to help. But I think this is a unique opportunity for us all as Spartans to come together for one day to make a HUGE difference.
