The odds sharks and the president agree: The Michigan State Spartans have a great shot at making the Final Four.
OddsShark.com has No. 2 seed MSU favored to win its region over the No. 1 seed Virginia Cavaliers:
Another 2-seed favored to win its region is Michigan State in the Midwest Region. The Spartans are a +160 favorite to win the region over the No. 1 Virginia Cavaliers, who are going off at +210. These two teams have met in each of the last two NCAA Tournaments with Michigan State coming out on top both times. They appear to be on a collision course again here in 2016, but No. 5 Purdue (+600), No. 4 Iowa State (+750), No. 3 Utah (+900) and No. 11 Gonzaga will try to play spoiler.
Elsewhere, Barack Obama has released his own NCAA Tournament bracket, and it too includes Michigan State in the Final Four. However, the president has MSU losing to North Carolina in the semifinals.
