Basketball season may be over for the Michigan State Spartans, but a few will still be heading to Houston for the Final Four.

Per 247Sports, head coach Tom Izzo will be in town to find out if he made the cut for the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame April 4. Meanwhile, senior guards Denzel Valentine and Bryn Forbes will participate in a 3-point contest at Berry Center in nearby Cypress, Texas on March 31.

Eight players will participate, giving MSU a good shot at the win.

For the 2015-16 season, Forbes made 112 threes (hitting 48.1 percent), good for third in school history. Valentine hit 104 (hitting 44.4 percent), ranking him fourth all-time for a single season.

Of course, Forbes set a school and Big Ten record when he dropped 11 threes against Rutgers March 2.

The contest, along with a slam dunk competition, will be on ESPN, 9 p.m. on March 31.
