It's never too early for a preseason Top 25, and if the experts are to be believed the Michigan State Spartans will be a top-10 team again next season.
SB Nation has already released a list of best college basketball teams, with MSU expected to be among the nation's best in 2016-17.
Here's what they had to say about the Spartans:
2015-16 Record: 29-6
2015-16 Finish: First Round
Associated Press Player of the Year Denzel Valentine is gone, as is sharp-shooter Bryn Forbes and "glue guy" Matt Costello. Eron Harris, Gavin Schilling, Matt McQuaid and Tum Tum Nairn will all be back, though, and they'll join forces with one of the most talented recruiting classes Tom Izzo has ever brought to East Lansing.
Tom Izzo has already said next year's team could be his most talented yet. Maybe he's on to something.
The full top 10 is as follows:
1. Duke Blue Devils
2. Kentucky Wildcats
3. Villanova Wildcats
4. North Carolina Tar Heels
5. Louisville Cardinals
6. Xavier Musketeers
7. Kansas Jayhawks
8. Oregon Ducks
9. Virginia Cavaliers
10. Michigan State Spartans
