Michigan State picked up a big win over Maryland in the Big Ten baseball tournament, beating the Terrapins 4-3 Friday morning in Omaha.
Starting pitcher Ethan Landon played a huge role in the win, and Jordan Zimmerman hit a home run and drove in the go-ahead score in the eighth inning.

With two wins in the bag, the Spartans need two more wins to become Big Ten Tournament champs. They'll face either Michigan or the winner of the Ohio State-Iowa game Saturday at 2 p.m.
