Michigan State Makes Top 6 for DE Target

Georgia-based player also looking at Arkansas, Duke, Georgia Tech, Cal and Indiana.

A Georgia-based defensive end has included the Michigan State Spartans in his top six.

It's great news for MSU, who would love to add Drew Jordan to its 2017 recruiting class. You can watch the above Scout video to see who else made the cut, but we've already included it for your convenience.

Jordan is a three-star according to some services and a four-star by others. His 247Sports composite is a high three-star for the 6-2, 236-pound player. Duke is actually the reported favorite at the moment, although anything could happen between now and February.

"I like Michigan State because it's always been one of those powerhouses for football," he says. "I love East Lansing. Great staff, great people up there. I feel like they're just going to continue to compete for championships."
