Good news out of East Lansing today. Mark Dantonio announced today that the NCAA has granted Brandon Clemons a 6th year of eligibility.
Clemons, who earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology in December 2015, has played in 32 career games.
A three-year letterwinner (2013-15), Clemons participated in spring practice and is expected to be a significant contributor on the offensive line in 2016.
This is big for Michigan State. One question mark going into the season is how MSU is going to do with youth on the O-Line and Clemons provides experience. They are going to need it too as they will get tested early, facing Notre Dame in South Bend on Sept 17th.
