Spartan Nation Gathers to Celebrate Life of Mike Sadler

Yesterday was an emotional day for everyone in Spartan Nation. It is hard to believe that only a week ago we lost Mike to the tragic car accident that also took the life of Nebraska’s Sam Foltz.

Yesterday afternoon thousands of Spartans gathered at Spartan Stadium to celebrate the short but incredibly beautiful life of Mike Sadler. Among those in attendance were the majority of the 2016 team, Mike’s family and many long time teammates and friends. The Spartan logo was on the center of the field with a 3 in the center in Mike’s honor. Many people spoke including Athletic Director Mark Hollis, Connor Cook, Darqueze Dennard, Travis Jackson and Coach Mark Dantonio.
