Michigan State Makes Top 5 for Five-Star G Gary Trent Jr.

One of the top shooting guards in the 2017 class has released his top five programs, and the Michigan State Spartans remain in the running.

The list is a who’s who of college basketball powerhouses and 247Sports’ crystal ball predictions all have Trent going to Duke, but Tom Izzo knows a thing or two about recruiting top talent.

Trent stands 6-5, 190 pounds and hails from Saint Paul, Minnesota. He’s the son of first-round draft pick Gary Trent.
