Michigan State Volleyball Season Begins Friday

The long summer is winding down to a close and that means Michigan State Spartans fall sports are gearing up.

This weekend the MSU volleyball team plays its first matches of the season in sunny California.

MSU’s squad is expected to be pretty competitive this season, falling just outside the initial top 25 (they’d be No. 27 if the rankings went that far).

Nebraska, Minnesota and Wisconsin are expected to be the Big 10 heavyweights with all three ranking in the top five, but there’s plenty of time for Michigan State to change that.
