Cassius Peat’s career with the Michigan State Spartans is over.

The defensive lineman has been given a release to transfer and says he’s figuring out where to go next.

According to the Detroit Free-Press and others, Peat has enrolled at Eastern Arizona, a junior college near his hometown.

Peat had not been practicing with MSU team during preseason camp even though he was listed in the two-deep at defensive tackle. He came in to East Lansing as a three-star recruit in 2015 after considering offers from UCLA, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and others.
