You may have missed this in the scramble of the first real night of college football, but Tate Lewis, the punter for Southern Utah, paid a tribute to late Michigan State Spartans punter Mike Sadler on his arm.

Sadler, a four-year starter and Academic All-American, was headed to Stanford Law School this fall. He died in a car accident during the offseason while returning from a coaching clinic.
The Thunderbirds were on the road against Utah, coming home with a 24-0 loss, but it’s a classy move to honor one of the game’s most colorful personalities.
