Going into last week, Michigan State was slowly inching towards a lost season.

Sitting at 8-5 with Miles Bridges still out indefinitely, things were looking bleak for the Spartans, but they bounced back in a big way with wins over Minnesota and Northwestern.

Against the Golden Gophers, Michigan State rallied in the second half to force overtime before coming away with a 75-4 win. The Spartans followed that up with a convincing 61-52 win over the Wildcats on Friday.

What makes this 2-0 start in Big Ten play even more impressive is Northwestern and Minnesota entered last week a combined 23-3, but the Spartans scored wins against both clubs, and now their season is heading in the right direction.
