Michigan State has been searching for a signature win this season, and boy did they get one Tuesday night.

Thanks to a career-high 42 points from Tori Jankoska, which broke Michigan State's single-game and all-time scoring record, the Spartans dominated No. 11 Ohio State en route to a 94-75 win.

The 5-8 senior guard moved past Aerial Powers' previous scoring record of 1,817 to become the program’s all-time leading score. She scored 19 points in the first quarter, recording the most points scored in the first quarter by any Spartan this season.

Jankoska was given a roaring ovation when she was taken out of the game with 1:06 left and 1,853 career points.

This was Michigan State’s first win over a ranked team this season after losing its previous two to Syracuse and Notre Dame. The Spartans are now 13-4 and 3-1 in Big Ten play. They’ll be back in action Big Ten play on Saturday when they hit the road to face Rutgers at noon EST on the Big Ten Network.
