It’s late January, which means National Signing Day is just around the corner and Michigan State is looking to put the finishing touches on their 2017 class. They took a big step towards doing that this morning when DE DeAri Todd flipped his verbal commitment from Boston College to MSU.

Listed at 6’4” and between 235-250 lbs with long arms, Todd fits the mold of MSU DE recruits from the past and is a 3-star recruit on 24/7 and a 2-star on Rivals. But as Mark Dantonio and company have proved time and time again, recruiting rankings only carry so much weight.
The fun may not be over in East Lansing. MSU’s recruiting coordinator Curtis Blackwell and other recruiting staffers have been tweeting their victorious hashtag #V4MSU all morning
