What a way to end the weekend for MSU.
On Friday, the Spartans picked up commitments from running back Elijah Collins and offensive lineman James Ohonba.
On Saturday, as we all know, the Spartans picked up a big time 17-10 win over Iowa. For that game, legendary national champion Bob Apisa served as honorary captain.
Well, on Sunday, Apisa’s grandson — 3-star offensive lineman Jacob Isaia out of Las Vegas — announced his commitment to the Spartans.
I want to thank God and my family for supporting me through this whole process. I’ve committed to play football for MSU!! #GOGREEN pic.twitter.com/9ml474hG5D

Isaia comes in ranked as the 16th best center in the nation per the 247Sports composite and the No. 8-ranked recruit in Nevada. He’s also had a history of top-flight football behind him as he plays for Bishop Gorman High School, a perennial national powerhouse.
Isaia is the 18th commit of this 2018 class, also becoming the third lineman to join the green and white. Ohonba and 3-star Dimitri Douglas are the other two offensive linemen.
For the time being, Isaia’s commitment puts MSU’s class in the top 30 nationally per 247Sports.
