How to watch: Michigan State at Minnesota

The Spartans look to get back to work on the road against Minnesota for another prime-time game

NCAA Football: Iowa at Michigan State Mike Carter-USA TODAY Sports

East Lansing has never had a hard time getting a party together on a Saturday night, but this year there have been even more reasons. For the third time in only seven weeks of college football, the Spartans are playing at night.

So far, MSU has had extremely split results during their night games. In Week 4 of the season, the Spartans dropped their only game so far after getting blown out by Notre Dame in East Lansing. Last week, however, MSU shocked Michigan in Ann Arbor in the middle of a monsoon to not only improve to 4-1, but earn a spot in the AP top 25.

This time, it’s the Golden Gophers playing host to the prime-time game. The Golden P.J. Fleck’s have had an up-and-down season, starting 3-0 against lesser opponents before dropping their first two Big Ten games. Expect Minnesota to play hard throughout the night, especially given Fleck’s experience against MSU. No matter what happens, it will be must-watch for MSU fans until the final buzzer.
