The Michigan State Spartans continue to be one of the biggest bounceback teams of the 2017 season.

After winning just three games in 2016, the Spartans have almost doubled that as they hit the midway point of their season. On Saturday, L.J. Scott returned from an injury to carry the ball 25 times for a career-high 194 yards and two touchdowns, helping the Spartans hang on for a 30-27 victory at Minnesota.

Fellow running back Madre London went for 74 yards rushing and a score, while kicker Matt Coghlin made three field goals and the Spartans scored their fifth win of the season.

Up next, the Spartans host Indiana, which took Michigan to overtime in a 27-20 loss on Saturday.
