It was announced on Thursday by the Big Ten that the men’s basketball schedule will turn to 20 conference games starting in 2018-19.
Even better? The MSU-UM rivalry is guaranteed to be featured twice as the Big Ten has elected to protect that matchup along with Northwestern-Illinois and Indiana-Purdue. Luckily for the Spartans, this year’s lone matchup is at Breslin Center on Jan. 13.
In the 20-game conference schedule, teams will face seven opponents two times and the other six just once.
