Surprise: Bridges named Big Ten Preseason Player of the Year

Miles Bridges was named the Preseason Big Ten Player of the Year.

In a unanimous vote, Bridges was voted as the top guy coming in at Big Ten Media Day after earning Big Ten Freshman of the Year. Also joining him on the Preseason All-Big Ten Team is fellow sophomore Nick Ward.

Bridges was also one of three players chosen unanimously to the Preseason All-Big Ten Team with Wisconsin’s Ethan Happ and Northwestern’s Bryant McIntosh being the other two.
