The Spartans got a huge bounce-back win last week at home against Iowa, getting back to their winning ways and starting the Big Ten season 1-0. The win proved Michigan State is a real team and wasn’t going to fall into the same hole they fell into last year.
This week, however, the Spartans will have their first road test of the year, and it’s a big one. MSU heads east to Ann Arbor to play the undefeated Michigan Wolverines. While Michigan’s record is perfect, their play hasn’t been. There will be opportunities for Michigan State to take this game, but they need to play better than they have all season long.
Once again, Michigan State is playing a prime-time game, their second night game this season and their third non-noon start. Last time they were under the lights, things didn’t work out very well, losing in a big way to Notre Dame. If the Spartans are able to make this outcome different, you won’t want to miss a thing.
